Hello world here's a song that we're singing...come on get happy...

Good morning, y'all! Happy Tuesday! I hope you're having a great week so far. It has been crazy around here as usual...and even more so since the boys started Fall Baseball. It's sooo fun! They played their first game on Saturday, and I tell you what, it is the best entertainment I've had in a VERY long time. Hilarious!

Anywho, it's time for another Tuesday Sketch Challenge from Mercy! She threw me a curve ball this week by making sketch for a long card, but I know better than to test my limits. *wink* Here's the sketch:

I decided to make a regular A2 card (5.5" x 4.25") instead of a long one. Mostly because I have no long envelopes, and also because I stink at long cards. So here's my version:

I used the new Happiness Found stamp from Verve for my main image, inking it up with red and black Versamagic Dew Drops. The background panel is a Kraft piece stamped with the flourished pattern from Bountiful Backgrounds in Versamark ink for a very subtle pattern. After adhering that to my white card base, I added a strip of black cardstock, matted with a tiny bit of white and then edged with red cardstock punched with my EK Success Embossed Curve Edger Punch. After matting my main image in black, it didn't really stand out against the black strip, so I added some red stitched ribbon around the card base, and then popped the main image up on foam dimensionals. You like?

But the eye candy doesn't stop here! Don't forget to check out what the other Muses have done with this week's sketch:

* Mercy Kerin
* Pam Speidel
* Jessica Diedrich
* Cindy Haffner
* Pam Varnell
* Julie Lacey
* Crystal Birr
* Jackie Pedro
* Suzy Tyler (September Guest Muse)

I know you wanna play along with us, right? Yay! I knew you would. *wink* Be sure to use the keyword MTSC41 when uploading to a public gallery, and link your card in the Mister Linky box on Mercy's Post. Have a fabulous day!
