Here's the card I created featuring Rustic Tiles and gorgeous trims and brads from Creative Impressions, who so generously sent us goodies to play with this month!


 I stamped this image in Versamark onto white cardstock, then embossed it in white. After that cooled, I spritzed the entire panel with red Glimmer Mist. Here's a look at some of the shimmer from the mist:


Gorgeous, huh? I stamped the words "I Believe" from Cancer Schmancer across a pretty gold ribbon in black Stazon and layered it onto white twill. A few mulberry flowers finished off the design.

Happy Friday, y'all! This week our Bellariffic Friday challenge was to add snow to our cards. The temps have been back and forth from 50-80, but this is definitely the only snow I've seen in a VERY long time! We did have our first frost here this morning, so I am crossing my fingers for snow at some point!


On to my card! I had this image of Izzie has a Brelly in my stash, and I thought she would be really cute with a little snow! So I added some ground and little dots here and there with white Liquid Applique...I love that stuff. She was stamped in Memento Black ink and colored with Copics, by the way. Here's a closer look:


My layout was kind of ho-hum, so I dug around and found some paper doilies. Perfect! After mixing some acrylic paints to match her dress, I painted the doily and aged it with distress ink a little bit. I love the little bit of pop it adds to the card. I also added a seam binding bow and a yummy Prima flower just because. *grin*

Close your eyes, make a wish, and blow out the candlelight...

Happy Thursday, y'all! How's your week going? Mine is flying by! Does anyone out there have an extra six hours in the day they can give me? EEK!
Anyway, I was feeling a little creative tonight, so I decided to play along with this month's Sketch for You to Try. I really liked this one...and didn't even change it. *wink*


I dug into my stash of colored images...I'm embarrassed to say there are LOTS and LOTS that need to find homes on cards. I pulled out this one of Izzy has a BIRFDAY Cake from Stamping Bella..love her. Here's what I came up with:


Look at me!! I even used some Prima flowers...I've been hoarding those for a LOOOOONG time. Instead of a single sentiment, I stamped Make a Wish repeatedly on the pale yellow cardstock panel. Here's a closeup:


I used some Liquid Pearls as icing on her cake, then added Stardust Stickles and some Glossy Accents to the cake, tray, and her headband. I also tossed in some lace and Zva Creative Bling for good measure.

Well sometimes I go out by myself, and I look across the water...and I think of all the things, of what you're doing, and in my head I paint a picture...

Good morning, y'all! How have you been? We are great over at the Teubner Haus, just going from here to there and trying to enjoy the time in between. Soccer and baseball seasons are in full swing, so that means fun Saturdays, and opportunities to play with the camera lens I got for my birthday. Woohoo!

Anyway, I snuck away to my craft disaster area room last night and finally got to turn some of my colored images into cards. The first card features Josephine cuddling her pet cat Kiki from Stampavie's CHA Winter Release.


Isn't she gorgeous? She was so much fun to color. I colored her with Copic markers and added some bling, lace and a gorgeous Prima flower as an accent. The main image and October Afternoon card base were cut and embossed with Nestabilities Labels Seventeen.


The next card features an adorable image from Mo Manning's Stampavie Collection called Psst Dani and Taylor. I colored this image over a year and a half ago to show as a sample in a Copic class...I love it!!


I really had fun with this card...just kind of went crazy with the colors and layout. I used Rectangle Nestabilities to cut and emboss the main image and scalloped mat, and used my cute little notebook page style border punch on the lined paper. The patterned paper is from Cosmo Cricket, and the  polka dot strip is from the Pink Paislee Artisan Elements Border pack...it's a fun cross between foam and resin, and comes white so you can customize the color to your project. I sprayed this one with Glimmer Mist.


The sentiment (from Papertrey Ink) fit nicely onto my yellow butterfly, then I added some Diamond Stickles and glitter around the edges. A few little touches like twine, a mini library clip, and glitter, and I was all finished!

Hey y'all! How are things out there in your world? We are doing great here...just blowin' and goin'! I am in the middle of re-organizing my craft room, trying to make some sort of order of the chaos, so I haven't been creating much...but I decided to reward myself with a little play time. I mixed some old and new Verve together, combined it with this week's Mojo Monday sketch...and here's what I came up with:


I started with my Melon panel and stamped the hearts background in Melon ink. After I sponged the edges with Melon and Espresso ink, I added glitter to a few random heart centers. I tied the white ribbon around, then adhered to the Kraft panel. I always try to find an excuse to use these pretty crystals, so I added those, then popped the glittered heart up on top. The banner was scored and folded on each end to make it a little shorter, then I adhered it to the heart. Here's a closer look at some of the details:

Hey, y'all! Yep, I'm back again! I'm excited to be playing along again this month with the Skipping Stones Design Tuesday Sketch Challenge...this time as the Guest Sketch Artist! Each Tuesday in November I'll give you a brand new sketch to play with...I'd love for you to play along! Pretty please? *wink* So here goes...here's my first sketch:




And here's my card:




This was a quick little card (especially since I cheated and used the flower for my oval panel *wink*), but I love how elegant it turned out. I think it's thanks to the gorgeous background from Timeless Textures. I stamped it in Pear Pizzazz ink on Kraft cardstock, then sponged the edges with Crumb Cake & Early Espresso ink. I cut a piece of Rustic Cream cardstock and stamped the sentiment from Cancer Schmancer in Early Espresso before sponging and distressing the edges. I finished it off with a strip of Espresso cardstock punched with a Martha Stewart border punch, my gorgeous Prima flower, and some pearl flatbacks from Stamping Bella.

ACK! How did it get to be Thursday already? I really need to figure out how to add another four hours to the day. Anyone else? I'm *hoping* that when the boys go back to school it will be better...but secretly I'm not too optimistic. {sigh}

Anyway, I am FINALLY back with a Whipper Snapper card for you. Have you checked out Anna's new cling sets yet? They're too cute! This card uses the set called Butterfly Kisses.




Instructions:
1. Cut kraft base layer and mat with black cardstock.
2. Cut yellow patterned paper, mat with black cardstock, & adhere to kraft panel.
3. Adhere striped patterned strip across card base.
4. Place jewel embellishment piece in top left corner.
5. Wrap ribbon around card base, adhere ends to back.
6. Stamp & color flower image and embellish with glitter. Mat with black cardstock.
7. Adhere to card front with foam dimensionals.
8. Tie bow next to main image, threading under attached ribbon strip.

I colored this fun flower image with Copic markers, using the Quad-Zero's and the darkest shade, picking up ink from a palette & using feather strokes to blend them together. I accented some areas of the flowers with Glossy Accents & Glamour Dust, then covered the vase with Glossy Accents.

Hey, y'all! Happy Tuesday! It's time for another Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge...another easy one this week. Here was the sketch Mercy gave us to work with:

Isn't it fun? I loved the square panels, but of course mine didn't end up square. *sigh*

But I do love how it turned out, square or not! The stamp is from Verve's Love's Flower set, the flowers are Prima, and the patterned paper is Basic Grey. My finished card measures 5 1/4" square.

Hey, y'all...Happy Bellariffic Friday! I have another post for you today...this time with a peek from the Stamping Bella Release! I have the privilege of showing you Eloise is in Love...how cute is she??

You all know how I love my Chichiboulie Fairies, and this one is no exception. How adorable are those ruffled socks?? Here's a close-up of her:

I just loveyyy her! She was stamped on Bella's Bestest Paper and colored with Copics. I airbrushed the ground (pretend she is on a little hill...it's a bit crooked...) with W3 and then the rest of the background with a nice soft yellow (Y21). Then I cut and embossed the image with my Labels 8 Nestabilities and added a black mat (cut by hand). I gave the image a little OOMPH with some Glossy Accents on her shoes and flagpole, and some Diamond Stickles on her wings and a few details on the flag. The paper underneath her is from the Bella Blvd Flirty Collection, and I used my Martha Stewart Doily Lace Edger punch on the side layers. The final touch was a ribbon/bow combo with a GORGEOMALICIOUS Prima flower, sprayed with Oyster Glimmer Mist. Love that stuff!
