Hi, sistahs! Happy Bellariffic Friday! This week's challenge from Stamping Bella was to use Polka Dots...super fun. Did you play along? If you did, don't forget to link your card in the SCS gallery (BELLARIFFIC0812) for a chance to win a 20.00 voucher from Stamping Bella!

This week I colored up another new image...this one is called Painter Meg. Isn't she a cutie?


I stamped her in Memento Black on Bella's Bestest Paper and colored with Copic Markers. Then I sponged the edges of the image with Soft Sky ink...love how it looks here. The sentiment was stamped in Stazon on a strip of vellum and adhered over the image.


The polka dot paper is from Echo Park, but I changed the brown dots to black with a Copic marker. To finish off the image I added some highlights with a white charcoal pencil...love that thing!

It's a beautiful night...we're looking for somethin' dumb to do...

Happy Thursday, sistahs! I meant to post this wayyyyy earlier, but I ended up back in the ER with the kidney stones again. This is a card using the Big Girl Pants image from Stamping Bella...as requested by one of my students it will be the focus of our Copic Club at Googly Eyes next Saturday.

Every day I'm shufflin'...

Happy Friday, y'all! How was everybody's week? It was a wild, wild week here...I'm happy to kiss it goodbye. My favorite way to do that? Bellariffic Friday, of course! This week our challenge was BRING ON THE STRIPES...easy, right? Here's what I created:


Yep, I have another Mo image for you! Lacie with Ice Cream was colored with Copic markers...isn't she precious? I sanded some Bazzil Two Scoops cardstock for the base layer, then added some wonky scraps (Yes, they are SUPPOSED to look like that!!) across the middle for a fun look. That's where my stripes came in. I also tied some gorgeous May Arts ribbon (with a satin stripe!). around the layers to fancy it up a bit. And I couldn't really live without a Zva crystal flourish. *wink*

I really loved coloring this image. I relied heavily on my palette blending here, using mostly my Quad Zero Copics. A few final touches of Glamour Dust Glitter and Glossy Accents on her lips, nails, toes, and glasses gave her just a little extra oomph.
