When I started playing with the new You and I set, I immediately knew I wanted to make some little notes to slip into the kiddos' lunches this year. I used to love when my mom did that, and I thought it would be really fun to make some little 3x3 cards focusing on the U. And trust me, we divas have already requested a whole alphabet!! *grin*

Since I have boys, my cards needed to be simple...they don't like all that "glitter and junk" (ha!). I started with a 2 1/2" square of kraft paper for each card, stamping the U in different colors of Versamagic Chalk Ink (love how this ink looks on kraft!!) in the center.

Once the ink dried, I stamped the sentiments in Black Stazon on top of the U. All of the sentiments are from Fabulous You.

Once I finished matting each piece with black and rounding two corners for a graphic look, I chose a scripture for the inside of each card. This one is the Philippians 4:13 Plain Jane. How perfect would this be on the day of a big test?

Once I finished these, I really want to sit and make a bunch...not just for lunches, but to hide in random places for someone to find at just the right time. One of my main love languages is Words of Encouragement, so things like this are just right up my alley. I can think of all kinds of fun things to do with the new You and I set...now I just need some time to get them all done!

Well that's it for today, y'all...thanks for all the love on yesterday's post, and I hope you enjoyed this one! Now it's time for you to hop on over to see the amazing Lynda!

Have a fabulous day!
