Happy Sunday, y'all! How are ya? Sorry it has been a while since I've posted...I was super wicked sick this past week. Yuck! But I am back, and have lots of goodies to show you. First up, a card I created using last week's Fall-to Layout #166.
Here's my card using some yummy new Verve stamps:
Isn't that little reindeer adorable? He's from the new Santa's Helper set, and I colored him with Copic Markers before I cut him out and tied some tiny jingle bells to his neck. I stamped and embossed two sizes of snowflakes from Glad Tidings on the white base layer, then sponged Memento London Fog ink around the images to make them pop. Behind Santa's Helper is the Notebook Paper Plain Jane embossed in white on kraft, then a heart cut from patterned book print with the Jotted Heart Die and a small red glittery one from the From the Heart Die Set. A red patterned frame from the Rounded Scallop Frame Die frames the whole thing. Here's a closer look:
I can't get enough of that sparkle...I added Diamond Stickles to each of the hearts and then sprinkled them with Coarse Crystal glitter. The little banner was stamped with a sentiment from Santa's Helper...I LOVE that font Julee chose! Before I adhered the banner I added some faux stitching with my tracing wheel. I added some distressing with my scissors around the base layer before layering onto my kraft card base. Maybe not so Clean and Simple...but I'm ok with that. *wink* I hope you like it!
Make sure you check out Verve's latest release if you haven't already...you can see all the new goodies HERE, and all the great stuff on sale HERE. One great thing about Julee is that it's still not too late to order now for your Holiday cards and items...they will be in your hands in no time!
Thanks for stopping by...stay tuned for lots of updates this week, I have a lot to share! Have a fabulous night!
