Welcome to Pink Tulle with Feathers and Sequins! My name is Shannan Teubner, and I am a mother, daughter, sister, hairstylist, paper crafter, retired sales rep, un-domestic goddess, & master procurement agent. I also know how to manually shut off a sprinkler system. Yep, I rock.*wink*
I miss my husband and partner in crime, who passed away on Feb. 7, 2010. We were best friends for 18 years. Now I blame him for things that go wrong with the house. *grin*
My two boys, Caleb and Cole (ages 12 & 9) keep me super busy with school, baseball, band, soccer, church, and all the other normal kid stuff. They are such a blast to hang out with.
Paper crafting is something that I have always enjoyed. I was the kid who was so excited to go school supply shopping every year and adored different colors of paper, pens, and markers. In July of 2006 a friend of mine gave me a hand-stamped tile coaster as a gift, and I thought, "What a great gift! I should make some for birthday gifts!" After two hours at Hobby Lobby, three LATE nights, several tile disasters, and spending way more than it would take to BUY four coasters, I was hooked. A few weeks later, I discovered Splitcoast Stampers, and it became my "home" on the web. My shoebox full of supplies quickly overtook the dining room, then eventually found a home in what used to be my piano room.
Now I spend some of my crafting time as a concept designer, and I also teach classes at my local scrapbook store. I love teaching Copic marker classes, and sometimes travel to teach in other cities.
My blog is mainly based on paper crafts of some type, but every now and then I'll throw in some pictures or personal adventures. I hope you enjoy visiting with me! Feel free to email me at shannanteubner@yahoo.com.
