A Card and a Llama

So if you can't tell...I've moved on from Christmas cards for now. I am sooo over this grey and rainy weather we've had the last few days so I decided to make a bright and fun card. This is one that just fell into place...I love how it turned out!

I stamped the main image from Let's Go for a Walk at Jen's the other day in Brilliance Black on Watercolor paper. I colored it with my waterbrushes and reinkers. The rest of the card is pretty simple...I went for the Spots & Dots folder for the Caribbean base, and added a red panel matted in white underneath the main image. The sentiment didn't really show up in black, so I used my versamark and embossed it with Seafoam White embossing powder. The line (from the Papertrey Faux Ribbon set) is also embossed in white. Then I finished it up with some brads, a couple of Primas, and some stickles on the doggies' party hats for fun.

So yall asked...the car I got is a Honda Fit, which is a 4 door car-ish thing with a hatchback.

Yep, I got the silver one. This picture really cracked me up though...
Is that a llama?? So for all you llama fans and owners out there...this is the car for you!!! heheee

Stamps: Let's Go for a Walk (MFT), Sentiment from Paper Tray (PTI)
Paper: Basic Black, PT White, Watercolor Paper, Real Red, Cool Caribbean
Ink: Brilliance Black, Versamark
Accessories: Waterbrush, Reinkers, White EP, Primas, Vintage Brads, Pop Dots, Stickles, Spots & Dots Embossing Folder

You're doing an amazing job with the MFT images, great coloring! I'm hoping to spend some time with my new MFT set from the latest release Rain or Shine later on tonight......

Yum! You know how much I love anything with carribean, but this is just fabulous. And a llama in a car? Who would do that? What if he spit on you while you were driving? LOL! Have fun in your new car-ish thing! ;)

This is a great card, nice bright colors to chase the dreary away!

And what on earth is a llama doing in a car?!?!?! Maybe Honda is trying to push them as the new "in" pet, LOL.

Congrats on your new car!

Anyway, I'm with you on the weather (blah!) and congrats on your new ride.

My llama loves to go for car rides. It's hard to find a travel crate his size though. (giggle) Fabulous card, as always! Love your blog!!!

Isn't there a thread on splitcoast about the "freakin' llamas"? I think you found them! Cute car! I want a new car, too.

Great card! We've had nothing but rainy & gray weather here, too -- I needed to see something happy!

If we ever get a pet llama, I know what car we'll need! Too funny!

I love your blog, cards, and wit. We also got a Black Honda Fit this past June and LOVE it. It gets 35 mpg and the 4 of us "fit" just fine in it. ~~ Katie, West Michigan
