So...yep something a little different from me today. I have been eyeing these Crafty Secrets stamps for quite some time, and decided finally to order the Favorite Fellas set, since I don't have anything like it. I preordered them from Anna Wight at Sassy & Sweet Crafts and I seriously had them in my hands the day AFTER she mailed them. (Ok, so I do live less than 2 hours away from her...*wink*)Anywho...she egged me on to use them, so I had to break from making a scrapbook for my mother in law to make this card.
Something else I tried that's new is Copic markers. They were on sale at Hobby Lobby, so I used some of my "lunch money" this week to get a few. (It's all DEBBIE OLSON'S fault!!) This is my first public showing of my Copic adventures....how did I do? They're actually quite fun to play with. Takes some getting used to, but fun for sure!
Do me a favor and keep my mom in your thoughts and/or prayers today. She is having surgery again due to the infection. A few months back she had a mastectomy and reconstruction, and now there is an infection, so all the reconstruction is coming out, probably for good. She's not feeling great and is ready to be healthy again. Thanks so much...I know I can always count on my PSF's!
