Happy Wednesday, y'all! First of all, thank you all so much for the love you left on the blog hop...you made my week! And now it's time for another Simon Says Stamp Challenge!

This week our challenge is We're so Trendy...to use chevrons, hexagons, and/or neon on our creations. Here's my card:

I used the Quilt Cuts 1 Dies from Wplus9 to cut hexagons from different patterns out of the Simple Stories Happy Day 6x6 pad. I adhered them to a kraft panel, and attached that to another kraft piece with a larger border. I stamped the sentiment from the Year Round Sentiments set from Hero Arts in Versamark and embossed in white on another kraft strip (yes, I have a kraft addiction...). The star is from the same set, and I added stamped stars inside the card as well. To finish it off, I added some Ocean Twine from The Twinery. Since I was making this to brighten the day of a certain special guy, I couldn't make it too frilly. The sentiment is perfect, since that's what I call him. *wink* Here's a closer look:

Thanks so much for stopping by today...and don't forget to play along to win a fabulous prize! You can see all the details and other inspiration for the challenge on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog.
