Pullin' like a magnet and she don't turn loose...sure enough powerful stuff...

Mornin' sistah-friends! It's Friday...YAY!!! Yesterday was the last day of school...how did my boys get so big so fast? It's insane, really.

So this week's Bellariffic Friday challenge was another sketch...this time issued by Karenabella.

This was an easy one...thank you, sistah!!!! Here's my card:

Last night I sat and watched So You Think You Can Dance and pre-colored a bunch of images. Stella with an Olive on Top happened to be one of them, so I pulled her out to use for this week's sketch. She was stamped in Black Stazon ink on Fabriano Hot Press Watercolor Paper. I like to use it sometimes...it's so smooth and yummy....love it! Anyway, then I watercolored her with a waterbrush & reinkers.

After she was all colored, I added Diamond Glaze to her lips & shoes, and Diamond Stickles to her wand and tiara. Then I set her aside to dry. I took my Kraft base layer and added a strip of Basic Grey Sultry paper with a scalloped Chocolate layer. I matted the whole Kraft layer with Chocolate Chip, then mounted it to my Prism Iced Pink card base.

Once Stella was dry, I matted her with Chocolate Chip and Prism Intense Pink and mounted her to my card. I stamped the Bottom's Up! sentiment in Black Stazon on a scrap of the Hot Press watercolor paper so it would match my image. I added two layers of Prima Flowers (one was light pink, so I dyed it with my Rose Red ink pad), and then a large Strawberry Parfait dot in the center. As a final touch, I adhered three small Strawberry Parfait dots to the right of the image. I love these dots, because I am forever thinking, "MAN! I should have added a brad there!" after my card was assembled. Now I can just glue on a dot at the last minute and not worry about "brad butts." *grin*

Well, that's about it for me today, folks! Don't forget to check out Emily's blog for more eye candy using this week's sketch. And have a fabulous day!!

Gotta make a move to a town that's right for me...town to keep me movin' keep me groovin' with some energy...

Morning, y'all! Happy Friday!! This week, Dana issued the Bellariffic Friday challenge, which was to make a birthday card! Hmmm...I can do that! There's always room in my stash for more birthday cards.

The used Amy's layout from this card...that girl has some smoking card layouts! WOW! For the main panel, I stamped Birthday Cake with a Stella In It in Black Stazon on watercolor paper and colored her with reinkers and a waterbrush. I cut and embossed her with my Rectangle Nestabilities and added a Chocolate mat. The white card base measures 5 1/4" square, so I added a 5" Kraft square as my base panel. Then I layered a piece of Baja Breeze cardstock with Chocolate and rounded the bottom right corner. The next layer is a piece of Bella Blvd striped paper, layered with Chocolate and Pumpkin cardstock, with a scalloped edge. Next I added the strip across, which is Chocolate Chip cardstock topped with 1" wide Baja Breeze ribbon. I popped up the main image panel (I used a bazillion and one dimensionals on this card, I think) and adhered the circle with the happy birthday sentiment stamped on it to the top right corner. To finish it off, I added Diamond Glaze to Stella's lips, Diamond Stickles to her wand and tiara and candle, and Liquid Applique to her cake. The final final touch were some Light Cocoa Glitter Dots...I think I have a new obsession...

Yes, a little much, a little over the top. You can't imagine how much this card weighs! But I love it. *sigh*

Now, on the total OTHER end of the spectrum, I have a clean and simple card to show you. I made this one for yesterday's Ways to Use it challenge on Splitcoast. Julia's challenge was to use Kraft cardstock. (yeah, not much of a challenge for me...shhhh)

I stamped Daisybella in Memento Tuxedo Black on Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored her with Copic markers. Using my Oval Nestabilities, I cut and embossed the image and added the Just a Note sentiment with my Stampamajig. I added some Diamond Stickles to the flower on her shirt and in her hair, and adhered a Goldfish Bauble to the center of her daisy. The Banana piece was embossed with the Paisley Embossing Folder, then I added a red layer just large enough to show under the oval image. I added some white taffeta ribbon around the card base, then popped the main image up on dimensionals. Three small Light Cocoa Glitter Dots finished off the bottom left corner.

Well, that's about it for me today! Don't forget to check out Emily's Blog for more eye candy and a chance to win some Bella Bucks. Have a Bellariffic Day!

I've grown accustomed to the tune that she whistles night and noon...

Hey yall! How's your Tuesday so far? Mine is ok, except those pesky kidney stones from January are coming back to bother me. Boooo.... I just got back from the dr to get some medicine, so hopefully that will help.

I have a quick little card to show you, then I'm off to rest on the couch. I think this gets me out of kitchen duty, don't you? *wink*

I stamped Daisy with a Stella On Top in Memento Tuxedo Black on Neenah Solar White cardstock, then colored her with Copic markers. I cut and embossed her with my Circle Nestabilities, then added some Stickles to her wand, dress, and tiara. Then I used some Diamond Glaze to make her lips and shoes shiny...because who can have non-shiny red shoes?

The Riding Hood Red panel is embossed with the Houndstooth Embossing Folder, and I added some Light Cocoa Glitter Dots as an accent. I mounted that to my 4 1/4" square Kraft card base, and tied some white ribbon around the top before mounting Stella on dimensionals. Quick and easy!

Ok, so I had to pick 2 more Blog Candy winners since 2 of the 3 didn't contact me. Here are the random picks:

Won't you tell him please to put on some speed....follow my lead....oh how I need....

Hey yall, have you been missin' me? I'm sorry I've been so quiet...life at my house has been busy! I did have a chance to make a card yesterday for my Bella Bash Challenge...did you check it out? There are 2 challenges and you have until Saturday to play. Two lucky peeps will win a $35 Gift Card to Stamping Bella!!! How about that? You can find the challenges in the Bella Forum on Splitocast.

I decided to do a color challenge inspired by some t-shirt colors at Ann Taylor Loft. I chose
Coral, Green, & Black
Plus you can use any neutral...Kraft, White, Cream, etc. Here's my sample card:

I stamped Stella has her Fix in Memento Tuxedo Black on Neenah Solar White and colored her with Copics. I cut and embossed her with my Rectangle Nestabilities, added a layer of Wild Wasabi, and then matted that with a black Deckled Rectangle. Using a Martha Stewart Border Punch, I created the scalloped edge on the Cameo Coral piece, then stamped the Fantabulous Day sentiment in Memento Black before tying the New Leaf stitched ribbon around. To finish off the card, I added some Diamond Glaze to Stella's cup and lips (cause she wears gloss, don'cha know!) and Diamond Stickles to her tiara and wand. I think she is totally fabulous!

Speaking of fabulous...have you seen the new releases from Stamping Bella? There are 2 new bellas, some bittyblooms, robots, a dragon, monsters, turtles, and my personal favorite - the 'Tude girls - a new line from Christy Croll (artist of the Tiddly's and Huggabuggs). Whew, I think I got them all...but you can find links to all the new stamps, plus a code for free shipping on Em's Blog.

Last before I go...don't forget to play in the Bellariffic Friday challenge this week...all the details are HERE. Have a wonderful Wednesday!

I've never seen you looking so gorgeous as you did tonight...I've never seen you shine so bright...you were amazing...

Happy Friday, yall! You know what that means....another Bellariffic Friday challenge! This week, we were to use the colors in this Collage Press paper and use a button. You know how I love my buttons!

And here's the card I created:

I really wanted to work with black, gray, white, and red so the red really stood out. The whole thing really was centered around the sentiment, which I just LOVE. Then I chose Mwahbella, stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with Copics. A little ribbon, a button, and some bling, and VOILA! Clean and simple with a pop.

You can check out the rest of the projects submitted for this challenge HERE. The sistahs and Bellariffic Babes really outdid themselves!

I have another quick card to show you today...I colored this image the other day when I was playing with Raspberry Fizz, Kraft, Black, and Cream.

I stamped Stella Doing a Balancing Act in Memento Black, sketched in a tile floor (a little wonky...whoops), and colored the image with Copic markers. I was going for a Mojo Monday Sketch (#73 I think), but it didn't quite work out. Sometimes you have to just go with it. *grin* Simple stuff...just added some texture with my Swiss Dots embossing folder and Primas with Hot Lips Baubles in the centers.

Well, I hate to run, but I have laundry and cleaning to do...fun stuff! Have a wonderful weekend, and I'll catch you later!

Baby, I can't fight this feelin' anymore...

Happy Saturday, yall! It's a pretty day out today, and guess what....I STAMPED! I know...it's shocking... *grin*

It's time for another Sketch for You to Try, and this week I thought I'd ink up Stella has her Fix for my card today.

Isn't she fabulous? I loveeeeeeeeyyyyy her. She is stamped in Brilliance Black ink on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock, then colored with Copic markers. Then I added some Stickles to her dress trim, wand, and crown and Diamond Glaze to her lips, coffee cup, and shoes. She is one shiny sistah!
When I saw the sketch, I immediately saw a chance to use some more of my hardware kit from We R Memory Keepers. So I threaded the ribbons through and held both ends in place with brads. I also wanted my background to pop more against the white layer, so I embossed both the rose and caribbean pieces with my Swiss Dots embossing folder, then sponged the pieces with Pomegranate and Turquoise ink, respectively.  The sentiment (from River City Rubber Works) was stamped in Pearlized Chocolate ink and cut out with a long rectangle scalloped Nestabilities. The rectangle was a bit too wide, so I trimmed it to leave scallops only on the left side for something a little different.
Well, that pretty much covers it...and I think I may have figured out one of the reasons I haven't wanted to stamp this week. My room is a total disaster, the desk is almost covered with scraps of projects, and I can't find anything! So after I finish this post and feed the boys, I'm off to clean up a bit and see if that doesn't do the trick. Fingers crossed!
Make sure you check out cards using this sketch from my stampin' friends Jen and our guest Nancy, Amy R., Amy S., Carole, and Susan. If you upload your card to SCS, don't forget to use the SFYTT keyword!
Have a fabulous day!

And I just can't pull myself away...under a spell I can't break...

I am sorry for the super late post, sistahs. I have worked so hard all week to keep up with work and keep my blog updated, it just all caught up with me today. We all slept late, then met up with family to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday. We had a yummy lunch at the lake...such a gorgeous day! Then when we got home, we all collapsed and took a nap.

So, I realize I'm horribly late for today's Sketch for You to Try. You can see it on Jen's blog. Here's my card:
Even though it took all day, I am lovin' how it turned out! I stamped Stella needs a prezzie in Brilliance Graphite Black on Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored her with Copic markers. I wanted the image to take center stage, so I chose bold, bright colors to color her with, as well as adding glitter to the image for some extra glam. This also works for this week's OCC Challenge, which is to Bring on the Bling. Is the the one for me, or WHAT??? *wink*

Here's a look at the inside of my card:
I bought this sentiment from River City Rubber Works specifically to pair with this image. I think this could work for Christmas, New Year's, Birthday, or an anniversary. So perfect!! I love how Stella matches up with these sentiments. You'll see more of them, since I couldn't order just one! *grin*

To see more fabulousness with this sketch, check out Jen's blog (don't forget to welcome our guest for this month, Nancy Riley!), as well as Amy R., Amy S., Carole, and Susan. They have some fabulous eye candy for you, as well as some blog candy!

I am headed to bed (again!) but I'll be back tomorrow with some more fun. Have a fabulous day!
