Hi y'all! Happy Tuesday! It's time for another Skipping Stones Design sketch, and this one is fabulous!
This month we are focusing on texture...Pumpkin Seed Sentiments and Timeless Textures happen to be two of my favorite sets from SSD, and they BOTH happen to be on sale for only $12.49 each! Perfect for stocking stuffers. *wink* Here's the card I created, also featuring product from Canvas Corp...so totally yummy:
I'm thinking I'll use this card to enclose a family photo in the little envelope...but it would also be perfect for a gift card enclosure, don't you think? The finished card measures 5.25" square. I started with a 5" square of Kraft cardstock and created a pattern with Pumpkin Seed Sentiments using Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, and Fresh Snow inks. I added a little bit of coordinating solid cardstock, then popped up a little "December 25th" circle from the Naughty or Nice paper, adding some Christmas Red Stickles to make it stand out a little more. I'm always looking for ways to use my mini Library Clips, and I thought this looked super cute. Here's a closer look:
I stamped the back of the envelope with snowflakes from Sassy Snow in Cherry Cobbler ink, then added the bottom of a Kraft tag with that sweet sentiment from Christmas Swirls embossed in black. I tied the envelope shut with rope from the Kraft tag packaging...I thought it looked pretty cute. Some more stickles to the snowflake centers finished it off.
I hope you will play along with us this week...you'll have a chance to win free stamps! Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to check out all the gorgeousness from my fellow designers! Have a fabulous day!

What a great idea to also put a picture in the little package on the front, but also makes a great gift card holder, thanks for the inspiration as I still need to make a few gift card holders! Beautiful!!!
What a fantastic card... I love Kraft paper, and it looks so nice with the brightness of the white and the red. Gotta love those Stickles.
Shannon, I adore your card! Love the little extras...the glitter and little clip are fabulous touches!
