Happy Thursday, y'all! How have y'all been? And has anyone else's children been ridiculously crazed from sugar? Yikes! So I snuck away for a little while tonight and played...I have had this Life is a Bicycle stamp for an embarrassingly long time, and I wanted to ink it up.
I decided to make something to hang on my wall, so I cut a piece of patterned paper to 4"x6" and wrapped some lace around for sweet touch. I embossed the quote in white embossing powder on hot press watercolor paper, then did a wash with a few blues and greens across the paper. Here's a closeup:
The heart needed to pop out a bit, so I painted over it with pink acrylic paint. A perfect finishing touch!
