Good morning, everybody! Today I have a treat for you...Day One of Verve's Autumn 2010 New Release Spotlights!




This Friday, October 8, Verve will be releasing 4 new sets and 4 plain janes!  And each day through Friday, the Divas will be previewing sets from the upcoming release.  There's a prize hidden on one of the participating blogs each day, so leave a little love as you hop around to be entered into a drawing to win that day's featured stamps!  Deadline for comment entries is 10PM Mountain Friday, October 8.  Winners will be announced on the Verve Blog along with the winners from the Release Week Challenges on Saturday.


Today, we are spotlighting two new mini sets and four plain janes.  We're celebrating Autumn with this release, so all the sets work within an autumn/harvest theme.  First up is a set called Many Blessings, a 4 x 3" set of 4 stamps that will retail for $9.  This versatile little set has three stemmed flowers in varying heights and the sentiment many blessings.  Next up is Happy Fall, a 3 x 4" set of 5 sentiment perfect for all sorts of fall occasions.  The fonts coordinate with other stamps in this release, so you'll have fun mixing and matching.





I created three little 4 1/4" square cards, each using a different sentiment and different sizes and combinations of the flowers from Many Blessings. Ecclesiastes 3:11 is one of the Plain Janes being released this month as well.

I stamped the flowers and sentiments in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the flowers with Copic markers. The edges were all sponged with Crumb Cake ink before the panels were matted with Terracotta Tile cardstock. Then each square was adhered to the Kraft card base with foam dimensionals. The finishing touch was a little Diamond Stickles in the centers of each flower.
