And I believe in dreams again...I believe that love will never end...and like the river finds the sea...

Good morning, blog land! This morning I'm playing along with the girls at Skipping Stones Design for the new release blog hop. There are two sets being released: Cancer Schmancer and Grunge...boy do I love these sets! You know I'm a sucker for the distressed look...love it! Also, the fund raising effort for the Susan Koman foundation continues...for every Cancer Schmancer set that is sold, $4.00 will be donated to the foundation! Love that.

So...are you ready to go? You can find a complete list of the participants in the hop over on the Skipping Stones Design Blog. If you've come here from Tammie's blog, you're on the right track!

I created a very simple card, mostly because I wanted the message to be good and clear! I believe. Period. I have experienced them. One of them is that my mom is cancer free! 4 years this fall. This is a nasty, nasty disease that our entire family fought, and I know how exhausting it is. So if I can share an ounce of hope with anyone, I will!

Here's a closer look:

I'll keep my chit-chat short today so you can keep on going. Next on the list is the fabulous Lea Lawson...I'm sure she has something awesome in store for you! Have a great Friday!

Stamps: Cancer Schmancer (Skipping Stones Design)
Paper: Kraft, White, & Creative Imaginations Cowgirl paper
Ink: Blushing Bride, Crumb Cake, Memento Rich Cocoa

This is fantastic, Shannan! It looks like you embossed the patterned paper and then sanded it. Is that how you did it? Just gorgeous.
