You're a grand, old flag, you're a high-flyin' flag, and forever in peace may you wave...

Hey, y'all! How was your weekend? Mine was CUH-RAY-ZEE!! (Did you hear that in Australia, Linda? *wink*) We have been fighting strep throat, sunburn, and teenage attitude at my house, and boy am I pooped! Any remedies for that third one? It has me weary, I have to admit!

Monday was release day at Whimsie Doodles, and I'm excited to tell y'all that I will be working with them as a design team member. Melyssa has 5 adorable new images and 1 new set available in the What's New section of the store. But I'm warning ya...they're CUTE! I am hereby not responsible for any enabling. *grin*

I will have a project to share with you this evening, but for now, go say hi to the rest of the girls, and enjoy their fabulous creations. They are one talented bunch!

Also, you can find a cute little freebie on the Facebook Page...you might want to head over there! *wink*

I'll also have some Whipper Snapper and Verve creative goodness coming soon, so come back to visit, k?

sweetie, I'm afraid the teenage attitude is just beginning....mine are 19 and 16 now and it's in full throttle. I'm pretty sure yours are younger than mine, so strap yourself in for a bumpy ride! A word of advice...be tough now and it will pay off in the future. Don't let them get away with being disrespectful and mouthy. Have consequences every time it happens. Figure out what their "currency" is and use that as leverage (ie, if their cell phone means the world to them, then taking that away as a punishment would speak volumes to them, hopefully soliciting change). Be consistent and firm. You will feel like you sound like a broken record, but truly, consistency is key. Good luck sweetie!!

I hear you all the way from Australia Shannan - I am glad you shouted loud enough!! LOL! How exciting to be on the Whimsie Doodle DT - you will NAIL those images baby!! LOL!
Now Shannah, I am sorry to hear you have so much happening - the worst being the 'teenage thing!' My DS (15yrs) is great but my girls at 14yrs and 12yrs - they are a whole 'nother show...they got my DHs Italian Blood ( we call them the Mafia Girls) and hormones....ahhhh....theirs are coming and mine are going - some days it is just UGLY!! I do hear though that it gets better - in a few years - ARGHHH! LOL! The more stamping therapy the better! Take care my friend! {{{hugs}}}
