These thoughts tend to flutter and there’s no way to stop them...I’m just waiting for the sun to come up...

Happy Monday, y'all! We're another week closer to sending the kiddos back to school around here, can I get an "amen"? My house sure gets dirty quicker, I can say that for sure! I have had a blast with my boys this summer, but I think we're all looking forward to them having a little more structure.

So after everyone went to bed, I snuck in for some stamping time last night. It has been a while since I colored up one of my Huggabugg images from Stamping Bella, so I pulled out Flutterby to play with.
I decided to start with Taylor's latest Sketch Challenge because these little bugs are so perfect for circle panels. I stamped the image in Memento Black on Bella's Bestest Paper, then colored her with Copic markers. Then I cut and embossed her with my Circle Nestabilities, and added a black mat to make the image pop. The background layer of Soft Sky was embossed with the Spots & Dots embossing folder, and matted with black. Then I added a Real Red strip across the bottom, and punched the edge with my Dotted Scallop edger punch before tying some 5/8" grosgrain around the bottom.

I popped the main circle image up on dimensionals, then added the Fantabulous Day sentiment to the right side. For the circles on the left, I decided to use some Prima flowers accented with a button and a Diamond Ice Bauble. Then I added some more Diamond Baubles to the top right to balance out the card a little. Then the whole shebang was popped up on dimensionals onto my 5 1/4" card base. As a finishing touch, I painted Flutterby's wings with Candlelight Shimmerz to make them sparkle. Cause if you have wings, they must be sparkly, right?

Well, peeps, I gotta run, but thanks for coming by to visit me today! Don't forget to check out Emily's blog later today for this week's Bellariffic Friday Sketch, k? And have a fantabulous day!
