I can't even begin to tell you how excited I was to hear that Julee was creating a cupcake set. Not just ANY cupcake set...a VERVE cupcake set. Seriously! And I love the name of it...
Cupcake Affair! Who knew cupcakes could be elegant? I made this one a little over the top with Liquid Appliqué colored to look like Vanilla Icing. Dontcha just want to lick it? In all seriousness, these stamps are so fun to play with, and who could resist that sentiment? Because we all know it's true... Cupcakes really DO make everything better.Here's a detail shot:

This is a beautiful card. I was wondering about the technique you used on the pink scallop mat around the image. It looks like it is embossed with a cuddlebug folder, then brushed with ink/pastels. How did you get the ink so neatly on all of the dots. How was the colour applied, or am I way off base on this paper?

Yes, you have created a monster...LOL But, I'm the best kinda monster, a creative one! I have a long bella list to get in Toronto and i am ready for the drive!
