Long, long time ago, I can still remember how that music used to make me smile...

So....did yall see the new releases from My Favorite Things?? I have been out of town for work, so I had to miss the release Cocktail Party {insert super duper sad face here} but I'm back!! And frantically getting ready to leave for CHA... I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited to meet some people in person that I really love, like AJ, Kim, Em, Anna, Joy, and Debbie. And the list goes on and on and on. *grin*

Here's a couple of super simple cards I made last week...I really really love how they turned out. Julee has continued to support my Fabriano habit (she gets hers from Flourishes), and I love her for that and so much more!!

They both use the mini set called How Sweet It Is, which is all about chocolate and sweets!! How great is that?! On the second card, I couldn't help but use the new Twisted Sentiments set, which you can find here. It's adult humor, so don't click if you are easily offended!!


Both of these cards use Versafine Onyx black ink and were watercolored with a Niji Waterbrush & Stampin' Up Classic Ink Refills. I find that the more I practice, the better my watercoloring is. And it's so therapeutic!!

One of my favorite elements of these cards is the pierced frame to accent the images, which was inspired by Lauren (thanks, chickie!) I can't find her original post, but it was genius!!
