Charging Onward!! Here's my card for this week's Sketch for You to Try, courtesy of Jen. This one was HARD! I moved the circle, cause it looked better down at the bottom than at the top, sorry!
I stamped the three little Penguindians from my Havin' a Pow Wow set from The Cats Pajamas. Then I masked them and stamped the Tee Pee in the background...I love how cute they look!! I colored the whole thing with Copic markers and then matted it and added brads to the corners. The striped panel is from my Basic Grey Mellow 6x6 pad...it was the only thing I could find with all those crazy colors in it! Then for the circle, I stamped the hearts from Loving Mew, and How? (from the Pow Wow set) in black on top. I cut out the 1" circle, then a 1 1/2" mat, and then an olive scalloped circle to finish it off. I also love the Tiny Bubbles background...it kinda looks like snow to me (or maybe I'm just crazy...). Make sure you check out Susan & Carole's blogs for their take on this sketch, too!
So today is my oldest son's birthday...he's 8 today!! Makes me feel so old...we're going to Sonic and then to play Wii at my parents', so it should be a fun day! I'll check back in tomorrow with some Bella cards.
OH! Which reminds me! There are some challenges posted from the party last night, so head over there and check them out! You have till Monday night to play. AND check out the What's New section on the Bella site...I am in loveeeeeeeeeee with the Fairies. Make sure you get the code for free shipping on Em's blog ! Have a great day!
