Shoebox Swap!!

I'm so excited...today is my first Shoebox Swap! It's with a group of SCS'ers (45 in all) and it's going to be an all day affair! I just thought I'd share my door prize and swap card with you all.

I found this tin in the garden section of JoAnn's today. I covered it with the new Spring line of paper from Recollections. Inside is a roll of yellow stitched grosgrain ribbon, pink grosgrain with white polka dots, Bazzil Really Big Brads, Stickles in Waterfall, Orange Peel, and Yellow, and the BEST prize of all...this cute little flower full of M&M's that I got at the M&M World store in Times Square. Once all the M&M's are gone, it will make a fabulous embellishment storage container!! I loved the colors of the M&M's and it inspired the rest of the goodie basket!

My swap card is really simple...it needs to be made in less than 10 minutes! That was really hard for me, since I really tend to "overdo" things sometimes. But I did it! Hopefully everyone will like it.

Stamps: Office Accoutrement, Sincere Salutations

Ink: Cool Caribbean, Basic Black

Cardstock: Certainly Celery, Whisper White, Real Red, Cool Caribbean

Accessories: Ribbon, Glimmer Mist in Oyster by My Tattered Angels

And last but not least, I tried to take a close up of the white cardstock sprayed with the Glimmer Mist. It adds this fabulous shimmer...I love it!!! Can ya see it???
