You popped my heart seams...all my bubble dreams, bubble dreams...

Hey, peeps! I'm so sorry I'm so late in posting my Bellariffic Friday project today...what a crazy week! I know, I say that all the time. But it's true!

So this week, our theme was to use Twinchies. I've never used them before, but they sure were fun!

I was inspired by my friend Sharon Harnist to make a boring little silver fridge magnet into something cute and fun. I chose Bessie Lulu, and stamped her in Memento Black onto my Twinchie, then colored her with Copic Markers.

Once she was all colored, I sponged the edges with Close to Cocoa ink, then added some sparkle with Diamond Stickles and a Copic Clear Spica pen. Finally, I glued my Twinchie onto my magnet clip with E6000 adhesive. I think I picked the magnet up at the grocery store, but I can't really remember. But I do know that I need more of them...I think I need to make some of these for my Etsy store, which is sadly empty at the moment.

We have also started announcing the themes in advance, and next week's Bellariffic Friday Theme is BIRTHDAY!! All you need to do is create a birthday card using stamps from Stamping Bella, then email a picture to Emily (emily@stampingbella.com) on or before Jan. 28th! I can't wait to see what you create!

Anyway, that's it for me...don't forget to check out Emily's blog for more eye candy from da babes and da sistahood! Have a fabulous day!

LULU BLOG HOP!!!

Hi Sistahs!! Welcome to the very first Lulu Blog Hop sponsored by Stamping Bella! We're so glad you came by! Today for your viewing pleasure, I made a quick little round card using my Circle Nestabilities and Henrietta LuLu. Is she not adorable???

Instead of stamping her in black and coloring, I colored directly on the stamp using my Stampin' Up markers. I saw this done on Lori Craig's blog (hi girlie!) and thought it was genius! So I decided to make this a Christmas card!

Here is the MASTER LIST of the Blog Hop participants today in case there is a break anywhere:

Off in the night while you live it up I'm off to sleep...waging wars to shake the poet and the beat...

Good morning, y'all! Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We had a great one...just catching up on some rest and laundry. Good stuff! *wink*

I had a few minutes last night to stamp, so I grabbed one of my pre-colored images and decided to play along with Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch #33. I love her sketches! Here's what I came up with:

I used another one of my new stamps, Harriet Lulu from Stamping Bella. She was stamped in Memento Black ink on Bella's Bestest Paper and colored with Copic markers. I cut and embossed her and a black mat with my Circle Nestabilities, then did a bit of doodling around the edges. I also decided to hand-write my sentiment on the circle panel.

The Blush Blossom card base measures 4 1/4" square, and I added a black strip on the left side to mat a Berry Sorbet strip, both punched with the Scallop Dot border punch from Martha Stewart. To add a little bit of interest, I decided to thread some white taffeta ribbon through the holes in the Berry Sorbet panel. Once those were adhered to my card base, I popped my main image panel up on dimensionals. The finishing touch was some Diamond Stickles to accent the image.

Well, folks, I gotta run...hope you have a wonderful Monday!

Got a candle need to blow that crazy flame away...take my red, black card and my jewelery...

Happy Friday, y'all!! How has your week been? Mine has been good, but busy! The boys had a great first week of school. Cole came home on Tuesday and said, "Mom, first grade is TORTURE! My teacher keeps bossing me around and telling me what to do!" *giggle* That kid cracks me up.

Anyway, y'all know by now that it's Bellariffic Friday! This week our sketch was by our new babe Meahnibella, and it was a toughie for me.

Those panels on the side really threw me for a loop. But I tried it, and here's what I came up with.

I used Henrietta Lulu...is she not the cutest thing evah? I stamped her in Memento Black ink on Bella's Bestest Paper, then colored her with Copic markers. Then I cut and embossed the image and a black mat with my Nestabilities Labels Four dies. For the background panels, I chose this cute little cherry print from my Basic Grey Lemonade 6x6 pad. Then I added some sheer black ribbon on the sides for the three side panels. I then stamped the "awwww SHUCKS" sentiment (that comes with Henrietta) on a scrap of white paper and cut it out, then added some Prima flowers and a black button tied with twine. To finish off my card, I added some Diamond Stickles to the image...sparkly and fun!

Well, that's about all she wrote today...don't forget to check out Emily's blog for all the eye candy from the Babes and the Sistahood using this sketch, and comment there for a chance to win some Bella Bucks! WHICH, by the way, have you noticed the new shipping policy? Here's a blurb from Emily's blog:

Instead of having to wait for a free shipping day, we decided to make EVERY DAY a free shipping day! SOOOO.. for all shipments over $55 in NORTH AMERICA, we offer free shipping to da sistahs! For all orders over $75, there is free shipping to all other international countries! For more information, please take a looky at our shipping policy here.
