Hey y'all! I just wanted to post this really quickly so there would be a place to comment. I'll have a card for you later today, but until then, make sure you leave a little love to the other divas for a chance to win some free Verve! You can find the master list and all the details HERE.
ETA: Here I am! Thanks so much for your patience...I actually spent part of Wednesday night in the ER with a kidney stone...so now I'm back and ready to go!
I was inspired by this card of Michelle Woerner's and created this card:
I pulled out the new Lovely Marquee Die and cut a panel to stamp the frame from Love Story on it in Poppy Parade. Then I added the sentiment from Hearts on Fire in Early Espresso. The hearts behind it from Sweet Valentine were stamped in Cool Caribbean.
To finish off the card, I added some chunky glitter and a little sponging to the edges of the Marquee shape. I liked the pop of green from the patterned paper, and the dyed seam binding was perfect. I pierced a circle in the card base before adhering everything because I really loved that element of Michelle's original card.
Well that's all from me today...thanks again for your patience! I'll be back soon with some eye candy...I've been hard at work making samples for the stamp convention in Grapevine this weekend! Now it's time to hop on over to see what Sony has in store for you...I'm sure it's amazing!

so cute....the circle piercing is a great idea!
I love Kraft cardstock and this has really inspired me to co-ordinate some of my "brights" with it. Thanks so much for sharing!
That pierced circle is awesome! What a simple (though time-consuming, I know) way to really draw attention to your focal point.
That's a cool color combo to go with Kraft CS. The circle of holes and the glitter around the sentiment keep the focus on what's important. Thanks for sharing after your paiful experience! I hope it keeps getting better!
