Stephanie Wilson did them for us...if you're in the DFW area (or not!) you should totally call her! She's awesome!
Anyway, it's time for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge...you know what that means, right? This one I kind of did by memory...my phone had the sketch on it, and my phone died. I had all the pieces cut, but didn't have them assembled, so I just stuck them on and hoped for the best. Looks like I was pretty close! Here's this week's sketch:
As I was searching through my stuff, waiting to be inspired, I remembered that I have a guy friend with a birthday this week. I decided to go with that and make him a card. So here's what I came up with:
And here's a closer Look:
I adjusted the sketch to the sentiment that I chose, which meant flipping it, but I think it works, don't you? (AHEM. Say yes. *giggle*) I used a variety of Papertrey Ink products on this one, except for the Cuttlebug embossing folder on the Soft Sky base layer.
Well, I'm all chatted out for now, but I'll be back soon with my Skipping Stones Design card for this week's sketch. Don't forget to check out what Mercy has for you, as well as the rest of the muses:
- Cindy Haffner
- Pam Varnell
- Jackie Pedro
- Julie Lacey
- Jessica Diedrich
- Jodi Collins (November 2010 Guest Muse)
Have a fabulous day!
