Let's paint the town...we'll shut it down...let's burn the roof...

Good Morning, bloggers! How's life treating you? I can sum up my week in one word....GLUB. Glub, glub, glub...you know, the sound when something is sinking? That's me! *giggle* Work has totally swallowed me whole this week, and I'm sorry I haven't been around. I still have a couple weeks left of the back to school rush, and then I'll hopefully be back into my normal routine. Fingers crossed! I miss my stamp time!!

So today is Friday, which means it's reveal day for Bellariffic Friday! This week's sketch was brought to us by Meahniabella, and it is fabulous I think!

And here's the card I created:

The image I chose to work with this week is Ruby and Rose from the LULU Collection...how adorable are these images??? I stamped them in Memento Tuxedo Black on Bella's Bestest Paper and colored them with Copic markers...YUM! Then I cut and embossed the image with my Circle Nestabilities, added a black mat, and a scalloped mat cut from Prism Frosted Pink cardstock sponged with Rose Red ink.

For my card base, I chose white measuring 5 1/4" square, and layered on a black square and a Cool Caribbean panel embossed with the Swiss Dots and Forest Branches embossing folders. I chose a black strip to place across the middle, punched with the Dotted Wave edger punch. For the circle elements, I chose coordinating Prima flowers and buttons threaded with white crochet thread, and I opted out of the sentiment panel this week. To finish it off, I did a little wacky stitching in the bottom left and top right corners, just for fun. Oh, and of course the obligatory Diamond Stickles on the image. *wink*

Well, I hope you enjoyed my card today...thanks for coming by to visit me! Don't forget to check out all the other fabulous creations on Emily's blog from the Babes and the Sistahood, k? I'll be back soon, never fear! Have a fabulous Friday!!
