I love my sunny day, dream of far away...dreaming on my pillow in the morning...

Happy Monday, y'all! It's a great day around here...it's the first day of school! I still can't believe my babies are in 4th and 1st grade...it makes me feel so old. *sigh* I am sooooo ready for them to go back to school, though...they are ready for some routine again.

So last night I did a little stamping, finishing up cards that I started last week and never finished. I decided to use this week's Clean and Simple Fall to Layout for this little card:

I stamped the Daisy with a Ladybug in Memento Black onto Vintage Cream cardstock, then stamped just the flower again on a scrap. I colored them both with Copics, then cut out the flower and popped it up on dimensionals. The little strip on the left side is from the Cosmo Cricket Early Bird Mini Deck, trimmed with a little black punched with the Dotted Scallop edger punch. After I stamped the Warm Wishes sentiment, I added some Diamond Glaze to the ladybug and some Diamond Stickles to the flower. The black card base measures 4 1/4" square.

The next card is another clean and simple one, this time using Amy R's sketch for this week.

I used one of my new favorite stamps, Cuppa Tea, for this one. The image was stamped in Memento Black onto Bella's Bestest Paper and colored with Copics. I cut and embossed the image with my Deckled Rectangle Nestabilities, then added some piercing coming out of the top of the cups. I see now that I "edited" the sketch a little, *wink* sorry, Amy! The Chocolate Chip panel was supposed to go above the image...oops! Anywho, I adhered that, then tied some custom colored Polka Dot ribbon (used a Copic Marker) in a bow around it. I stamped the sentiment in the bottom corner, then popped the main image up on dimensionals. The final touch was some Ranger Crackle Accents to the cups, which you can't really see in the picture. *hmph*

Well, friends, it's time for me to run for now...thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful Monday!

Your cards are adorable-that flower really 'pops' on the paper and I love the tea cups! So cute and looks awesome on Kraft!

Love the black card with the stunning red flower. I was unfamiliar with the site you used for the layout. Away I went for a visit and now i'm a subscriber. I have such a hard time doing clean and simple, yet I love the look. Now I'll have some more ideas thanks to you.
