Lord help the mister who comes between me and my sister...and Lord help the sister who comes between me and my man...

Hey, y'all, what's up? I'm stopping by again with another card, but first I want to say thanks for all the kind words about my blog makeover...y'all really know how to make a sistah feel good!

Anywho, I FINALLY got the new Basic Grey Lemonade paper, so I had to break it out yesterday and play. Here's what I came up with.

Yummalish, huh? I really wanted to feature the paper, so I decided to use Sistahoodabellas and paper piece their outfits. I stamped them in Memento Black onto Neenah Solar White paper, then stamped them on four different patterns of the Lemonade collection. I use the 6x6 paper pads because I like the smaller patterns. I cut out each outfit and adhered them to the image using my Quickie Glue Pen, which is great for teensy tiny areas like this. Then I colored the rest of the image with my Copic Markers and cut and embossed it with my Rectangle Nestabilities. I added a Chocolate Chip mat and also a scalloped mat cut from one of the solids in the paper pack.

I chose a 5 1/4" square card base, and cut a 4 7/8" square of Neenah Solar White, then matted it with Chocolate Chip. I punched 9 squares (3 of each pattern) with my Marvy Super Jumbo Square Punch and inked the edges of the squares with Versamagic Jumbo Java chalk ink. After adhering them to the white layer, I stitched down and across each row in kind of a quilted pattern (I am no quilter, so forgive me if this isn't right! *wink*), then popped my image up in the center on dimensionals. To finish off the card, I added some yummy raspberry May Arts ribbon and some glittah to the dresses. YUM!

Ok, I gotta run...I hope you like my stuff today! Don't forget to check out the latest Bellariffic Friday Sketch HERE on Emily's Blog. Have a fabulous day!
