Anyway, I just have a quick card to share with you today. I created this for the Verve Release...yay for new stamps! Julee has designed some fabulous images this time around, so make sure you check them all out HERE.
I created this card using using several of the stamps from the new set Up, Up & Away. Before I started my card, I stamped each of the balloons onto post-it notes and created masks for each one. Then I stamped them onto a 4" x 5 1/4" sheet of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock, kind of in a cluster like they were floating upward. After the image was colored with Copic Markers, I cut into the panel on the diagonal and added a black mat. This took some eyeballing, but I think it worked pretty well! I'm sure I could have used a ruler or something, but that would have been too easy. *wink*I added some Liquid Applique to the clouds, and I love the texture that added. Then I just adhered the strip to my Kraft card base (measures 5 1/4" square) and stamped the sentiment from Sweet on You, another new release. I didn't want it to get too fussy, since I wanted the images and colors to stand out on this one. So less is more (this time). *grin*
