I need a sign to let me know you're here...all of these lines are being crossed over the atmosphere...

Happy Monday, everyone! I'm sorry I didn't post blog candy on Saturday like I promised...what a bad blogger!! (almost typed globber...heehee) Anywho, I didn't get a pic either. My schedule is kind of backwards from what it used to be...my crafting time is now done during the week, and my weekends are family time. So it's hard to have something to post on Mondays!

Anyway, this is your official blog candy post, and comments will stay open until Friday at 12:00 NOON, Central (Texas) Time. I will pick 3 random commenters, who will get a little prezzie from me.

Prezzies may include:
Stamping Bella Sentiments
Stamping Bella Limited Edition Mini Bella Stamps
Fabulous and Random Embellishments, 6x6 Patterned Paper, Chipboard, and/or Ribbon
...anything else that I love that I think you might need! *wink*

Ok, so here's what I want to know...

I have found that my crafting is constantly changing, improving, and all about learning new stuff.
What is on the top of your list to learn right now?
I will tell you mine on Friday. If you don't have anything, you can just say something nice about me, tell me a joke, whatever (just be nice!!) Until then...I'm all ears!

I would like to learn to be able to switch off, relax and get into a creative mood when ever I need / want rather than being over stressed all the time.

Oh and to be better at colouring would be good too!

I would love to learn to balance my time to allow for more crafting time. Specifically, I have been experimenting with brayering lately and I keep refusing to let myself get hooked on the copic craze because I just can't afford these things right now. But I'm sure eventually I will wear down and dive in head first and it sure would be nice to know what I am doing. Thank you for the interactive blog candy. Here's hoping I will. Wink* wink*

oooh - i need to learn to get (and stay) organized in my crafting area. also, need to learn to balance looking at blogs for inspiration, and actually USING those inspirational ideas on my own creations! also, some more watercoloring skills would be great... love your blog, and love your work - thanks for sharing with all of us!

I definitely want to learn to color better (patiently waiting for another Copics 2 that I can make in Plano) and how to change up my cards so they don't always look the same. Love everything you create!

Anonymous said...

I want to learn how to shadow with my Copics. I took your class at the Craft Scrapper and really enjoyed it. I have been acquiring copics on a regular basis since the class... :)

Denimo said...

Good question! What I'm trying to learn now is how to better manage my card making time. Right now it takes me forever to create a card!! But it is getting better as my paper/stamps/coloring options keep growing and improving. Then... sooooo many more things to learn.

THANKS!
Denise

I've only been papercrafting for a short period of time. Been spending a lot of time cruising blogs (including yours). Right now I'm experimenting with the brayer and need much improvement, but am willing to invest the time. Thank you for the chance at the goodies.

Thank you for the chance to get some blog candy. I would like to get better at remembering to use my cuttlebug folders for additional accents instead of always trying to use scrapbook paper. P.S. LOVE your blog.

Ok, I actually have THREE things on my "must learn list" right now. (1) how to sponge better. I pretty much suck at sponging. (2) finish the online photography course I started in August of '08 (and only completed 1 lesson after paying big bucks for it) BEFORE August of '09. (3) sign up for and finish Jessica Sprague's photo editing class. (preferably AFTER I've completed the photography class). That's it.

I'd love to learn about coloring and shading! Thanks for sharing! Can't wait to see what you'd like to learn since everything you make is awesome!!! Kathy Hering...

Coloring with Copics & Prisma pencils is number one on my list, followed by sewing. I see such beautiful cards colored in perfectly as well as amazing sewing on paper projects. I would love to master both of these things.

Well, two things for sure - to use a Cuttlebug or the Big Shot but then I would have to buy one first before I can learn. Hmmmm. The other, I wish I could color like all you great bloggers out there and those who share their creations. I was a "master colorer" in kindergarten so I should be able to handle this. But, I don't have any Copics but I do have SU watercolor crayons, markers of various kinds, and some cheap watercolor pencils. So, I would think I could start instead of putting it off. Then, I have to have a camera or figure out a way to post what I have created on-line to enter some of these challenges and stuff. Anyway, love your creations and thanks for sharing them.

I am still learning and I like cheery light hearted cards but I sometimes I think I would like to make something classical eg urn, pear, etc. Just can't do it, but change is good so I'll keep trying.
