Their house is a museum, where people come to see 'em. They really are a scream...

Hey guys, I'm back with a sample of The Botz Family, which I have up for Blog Candy in -->THIS POST<--click. Last night as I was trying to go to sleep, I was thinking about this card and deciding what to make. Then I decided. It's called the Botz Family, why not make a family portrait! (yes, I'm insane). It really wasn't that hard as it sounds, though! Here's my card:
With a little masking and my handy dandy Stampamajig, this was (almost) a breeze! First I stamped Robbie (that's what I call him) in Memento Tuxedo Black on Neenah Cardstock. Then I masked him and stamped Rosie and Spotz using my Stampamajig to make sure I was stamping them where I wanted them. Finally, I masked Spotz and stamped Roboto Sr., leaving the mask on Robbie as well. Whew! I really like the final outcome though. What do you think?

Then I decided to create a frame with my square Nestabilities...something completely different for me (which is my 1st stretch for today's Limited Supply Challenge). Since I only have the Scalloped Squares, I had to cut the outside one with my trimmer. Then instead of sewing on my card, I did some doodling with my Inkssentials gel pen (Stretch #2). For the sentiment, I stamped the cake in Marigold Morning on Saffron cardstock, then stamped the HB2U (Happy Birthday To You) in Memento Black on top. I cut out a couple of circles with my Classic Circle Nestabilities and adhered those to the frame. A little orange ribbon and Cosmo Cricket Hello Sunshine paper and I was done!

Well, I hope you've enjoyed this card today as well as the festivities surrounding the Our Craft Lounge release. I know I have! Thanks, Joy & Cami for letting me share it with you!
