Boy I hear you in my dreams...I feel your whisper across the sea...

Happy Thursday, yall! I have a busy day today volunteering for the Book fair at school and then to lunch with some girlfriends, so I thought I'd post another card for you to look at whilst (love that word) I'm gone.

I recently got this Cuddly Owlies image from Stamping Bella and finally got a chance to ink it up. This card came together in just under an hour (coloring included!) which is a serious record for me lately. I don't know about you, but it takes me FOREVAH to make a card!

I stamped the owlies in Brilliance Graphite Black ink on Fabriano Hot Press watercolor paper and watercolored them with a waterbrush and reinkers. My waterbrushes have been sadly neglected lately, and I need to use them more! Once I got the image colored, I pulled out with my new Basic Grey Marrakech papers...so yummy! The blue paper is from that collection as well. I stamped the sentiment in Chocolate Chip ink, and the final touch was some Chestnut Glitter Dots, stitching, and a little taffeta ribbon. Super easy, but I think it turned out pretty darn cute if I do say so myself! *wink*
