Who can take tomorrow...dip it in a dream...

Hey Sistahs!! It's time...for the Bella Blog Hop, Skip, and a Jump! What's that, you ask? Well, I have gathered a group of your favorite Bella Enablers...Whoops...I mean SISTAHS...and issued them a challenge. Since it's that time of the year when a woman's fancy turns to GIFTING, I asked the talented sistahs to create a holiday treat or gift using any winter or holiday stamps from Stamping Bella. We will all be posting our creations today for your inspiration!

When I saw this Minty Coffee stamp, I had a total light-bulb moment. The Martha in me came alive and I got busy! Here's what I made:
I'm really proud of myself! I created this little gift jar full of peppermint white chocolate dipped spoons, which will be a perfect gift for a coffee loving friend. These treats are awesome...just unwrap and stir your coffee with it to make a sweet and minty drink. They were also super easy to make. After a little bit of research, I used these instructions. It literally took me 15 minutes, and while the spoons were cooling, I decorated the jar.
I stamped the Minty Coffee image in Brilliance Graphite Black on Fabriano Hot Press watercolor paper. Then I watercolored it with my Peerless watercolors...I love them!! After I cut the image out with my Oval Nestabilities, I added a scalloped layer and finally some shimmer with the Pearlescent Watercolors. These are soooo yummalish! Here's a detail shot (click on the picture for a larger view).
To decorate the jar, I wrapped a scalloped piece of shimmery ice blue cardstock around and then tied my ribbon around it in a bow. Then I added some cardstock and a few layers of Primas on top. Super easy and super cute, if I do say so myself!!

Ok, so are you ready to HOP....SKIP....and maybe JUMP??????? Go for it!!! BUT FIRST........there's a prize up for grabs!! After you visit the Hop Skip and a Jump blogs, come back here and tell me 2 project ideas that they've inspired you with. Then on Monday I will choose a random winner for some YUMMALISH BELLA CANDY! Sound good? Are you ready now? Take a look at this lineup and go leave them some love!!

3 ideas that have inspired me: 1) Your minty coffee jar and spoons. I am SO gonna do this! Thanks for an awesome idea! Lauren's glideabella tags. This was my first Bella (I have figure skated all of my life), and the tag looks so elegant yet simple to make. 3) Nicky's acrylic paper block. What a creative idea! Too perfect for Stella!

Thanks for doing this Shannan! It's so fun!

BTW: LOVE your reference to that oldie but goodie, "The Candy Man." I have fond memories of my parents dancing in their living room as they played that old record by Sammy Davis Jr.!

Love your decorated goodie jar with the yummy chocolate dipped spoons!

Yum! Those spoons would be so delicious in a cup of hot chocolate! All this blog hopping has made me hungry for sweet stuff! I loved Debbie Olson's paint can, but mostly I loved the date-Rice Krispie balls rolled in coconut and drizzled with white chocolate she put inside! YUM! Lauren Meader's cute little tin with pepperidge farm cookies was such a good idea! A simple way to dress up a little treat! Now I'm off to devour some treats of my own!

All of the ideas were great! The 2that I can actually see myself doing are Taylor's coaster box (since I have tons of coasters) and Jen's treat bag because this gives me a chance to use up all of that paper I keep buying but not using-LOL! Thanks for the chance to win.

Sooo cute, Shannan! I can see peppermint white chocolate dipped spoons in my future! :) Thanks so much for asking me to participate in the Blog Hop!

First off, I have no idea how to pick just two. I love your idea... because I am a coffee gal. But I also think that Taylor's coaster box and Jen's Boxy Bag full of candies are very versatile gift ideas...
Great for teachers, etc.
Thanks for the chance to win. I've been sick, so a VERY belated congrats on your Bella Nod as the FIRST Guest Designer... and as usual, thanks for the inspiration!

Okay, first is definitely Jen's stamped-on cookies. I can't believe she did that! And now I HAVE to try it, of course.

The second is Nicky's decorated paper block pads. So simple, but so giveable!

Oh, I am so sorry. I mint to tell you that I love your idea as well. I was brain storming for ideas for teacher's gifts and all I came up with was a natural disaster. I really like the mint chocolate on a spoon. Do you think it would work with hot chocolate instead of coffee?

All these ladies inspire me. I'm a subscriber to almost all of their blogs. My favorite two this time are Jen's box/bag with those sparkly bats and Debbie's adorable can with the luscious looking cookies. And I love your jar. I'm off now to investigate the spoons more. I made some years ago for gifts and had totally forgotten about them. An idea is spinning in my head right now.
