Hey, Once I was a funky singer playin' in a Rock and Roll Band....

Yes, I watched Dancing with the Stars. Did you? OMG...I love the cast this year! I especially love that Lacie from So You Think You Can Dance is on it. And I love love love Cloris Leachman. Should prove for some entertaining nights this season! I can't wait.

The other night I was hanging out with my hubby and coloring these images from Stamping Bella, so I thought I'd make a little card set with them. All of the images were stamped in Brilliance Graphite Black ink on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White paper (my favorite!) My Riding Hood Red and Kraft cardstock was still on my desk from yesterday so I just grabbed those and went with it.

First up is Bookwormabella, who I just love. One of my favorite parts is the worm and the look on his face. You can click on my card to see a close-up.
I have been trying to use up some of these Primas that I've been hoarding, so I added a few, and even colored some white ones yellow with a Copic marker for just the right color. Baubles added just the right touch for the flower centers. You can find the sentiment here.

The next card uses Sellabella, which reminds me of my friend Joann. This one is based on Amy R's Sketch #12, which I love.
I did have to break out the Stampamajig for this one to line up the sentiment, but I'd rather do that than ruin a whole card with a crooked sentiment! There I go again with the Primas and bauble, and this time I found room for some white taffeta ribbon. The chocolate panel is embossed with the Houndstooth embossing folder, and I scalloped the red panel with my SU Scalloped edge punch.

Next up is one of my all-time favorites, Staceyfishabella. I grew up fishing with my dad, so this image reminds me of our times together on the lake. Yes, I even touched worms!
This card uses Amy's Sketch #6. I couldn't figure out how to make Stacey fit, so I cut her fishing pole "out of the box." The background panel is embossed with the Swiss Dots embossing folder. I added accents with more Primas, baubles, and taffeta ribbon, and the Worm Wishes sentiment fit perfectly in the SU Word Window punch.

Last up is my favorite card of the set, which uses Teddybella and Amy's Sketch #7. I love this image...I only wish I had looked that cute when I was pregnant!
I used the Argyle embossing folder on my background, which I think is perfect for baby-type cards. I thought primas would be overkill on this one, so I just stamped the Retail Therapy sentiment and cut it out with my Circle Nestabilities. I love those things!

Well, that's it for today, folks. I hope you enjoyed my cards today. Which one is your favorite? I'd love to hear!

Have a fabulous Tuesday!

Shannan,
my fav is bookwormabella. My daughter is only 11 but she is very much the bookworm and she has this crazy out of control hair that she always pulls up in a ponytail or a bun and she looks like your card! I love it. I missed DWTS cause we had piano lessons and mini performances last night, but I taped it so I will watch tonight. Thank you for sharing.
