My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard...

Happy Tuesday, yall! I just have a few seconds, but I wanted to post this card that I made for the Verve Project Parade Challenge. I was getting so hungry looking at the colors...they remind me of Neopolitan Ice Cream!! Here's the awesome pic that Julee posted for us to draw inspiration from.
How yummy is that??!!! Love it. And here's my card:

I used Dawn's OCC Sketch from last Saturday...love this sketch! I stamped the background from Grateful Elegance in Regal Rose ink on my Pretty in Pink panel, and then sponged the edges with Regal Rose and Chocolate Chip ink. I used my Martha Stewart border punch to create the gorgeous scalloped edges and sponged the edges to make them stand out. I tied a big Chocolate Chip bow and mounted those layers on dimensionals to my 5 1/4" square card base. The corners of the Close to Cocoa piece are punched with the Ticket Corner punch, and all the edges are sponged with Chocolate Chip as well. To finish it off, I added some swirls and a sentiment from the Fairy Tales set and some Bella Pearls.

If you want to play along with us, we'd love to have you! And if you want a chance to win $15 in Verve Bucks, make sure you link your project ->{HERE}<- no later than midnight, Sept. 3rd. We'll draw a random winner on Sept. 4th...it could be you! Also, make sure you use the keyword VVPP05 so we can all see your fabulous creations!

Have a great day!!

Stamps: Grateful Elegance, Fairy Tales (Verve)

Ink: Regal Rose, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Brilliance Pearlized Chocolate
Accessories: Wide Chocolate Grosgrain, Sponges, Dimensionals, Martha stewart Border Punch, Ticket Corner Punch, Bella Glass Pearls

OMG!!! You do realize that I'll be singing that song when I got back to work this afternoon and all the library patrons will think I'm insane?! Oh well, I'll fit in with the rest of them! HA!

LOVE your card Shan! It's totally luscious with those colours and embellies. I just bought that same MS punch the other day, but I find it only works on thin cardstock but not the thicker coloured SU cs. Is yours the same or did I just get a bum one??

Have a super day, girl!!

You know, I resisted when Charmaine went on her doily lace punch whirlwind of cards, but then I saw THIS card. It's your fault that this punch ended up in my bag at Wal-Mart last night. And since I went to the craft aisle specifically for this punch, you are also responsible for the butterfly and branch punches I bought, as well as the glitterlicious Mega Martha Stewart glitter pack. It's all your fault! :)
