I have been in a simple mood lately with my cards, and this one is no different. My dad isn't a big fan of doo-dads and ribbon, so I kept this one doo-dad free. *wink* This new set from Verve (available tomorrow) is called Father Figure. Julee's Mojo Monday #32 sketch a few weeks ago was my starting point for this card. I'm not sure where my color combo came from (probably scraps that were on my desk), but I really like it.
My favorite part of this stamp set is the paragraph stamp that reads, "There are so many words that define you. You're a man of integrity, a role model, provider, protector, teacher and friend." How cool is that?! Perfect for my dad, anyway.
