Sorry, I couldn't help that one. I'll try to keep the children's songs to a minimum. *wink*
I finally got a chance to just PLAY today, and finally inked up my Swirly Stars set from Verve. I love these stamps!! My alcohol inks haven't seen daylight in a while, and I thought they'd go great with this set.
It's such a fun technique, and so easy to do! I made kind of a mess since I'm out of the felt thingies that go on my applicator thingie, so I used a cotton ball. My middle finger and thumb are a nice shade of Butterscotch, but it's the sacrifice I made for my art. *grin*
I pounced my little cotton ball inked with Cranberry & Butterscotch alcohol inks (by Ranger) all over my piece of glossy cardstock, then stamped the stars in different sizes randomly on the page in Black Stazon. Then I just threaded the ribbon through the sides of the oval & tied it around in a little knot. So simple!
I have a few other things to show you over the next few days, including a new MFT Sketch tomorrow and more Verve stuff, so stay tuned! Hope you had a great weekend!

Beautiful card! I love stamping the stars directly on the polished stone background...perfect for that set!!
This is gorgeous Shannan! I love the colors of the background. I think the stars are my favorite of the Verve sets and I can't wait to get my hands on them.
Gorgeous Shannan! LOVE that background!
I forget about this technique, but I absolutely love it! Great card, Shannan!
Shannan - this is amazing. I haven't purchased any alcohol inks yet - maybe I should check them out. I bought this set from Verve and have yet to ink it up. You're just Ms. Inspiration today! Thanks girl!
Oohhh, gorgeous colors! Yummmy.
And that song always makes me think of the movie "Corina, Corina" with Whoopi Goldburg.
