As soon as I saw this stamp from Gina K's new Tickle Your Funny Bone set I cracked up!! It's called "You Know You're Old When" and it's hilarious.The inside of this card reads:
"Getting lucky means you found your car in the parking lot."
Ok. Now. I AM NOT OLD.
But sometimes, I lose my car.
Don't you??
Anyway, I digress.
I've been practicing my Copic marker coloring and I am quite proud of this image!! After I colored it, I covered the car & windows with Diamond Glaze to make them shine. It's a very simple and quick card (measuring 4 1/4 square) that I can't wait to give on the next birthday!!

This is awesome!!!! Great coloring and I have to agree with Denise--the car looks 3D and I totally have Clueless in my head :-)
and Clueless makes sense since I've been losing my car in parking lots for several years now. I'm at the point where if I leave my car at the airport, I put the exact spot where I'm parked in my PDA :-) at Disneyland or all day places, I write it on a scrap I can throw in my pocket and sneakily pull out without someone realizing I lost my car in such a *short* time :-)
Shannon that car is incredible. You did an amazing job coloring it.....I only wish I could figure out the learning curve with my copics........Ugggggg I'm really starting to dislike those puppies. LOL I must admit it pays to have an automatic lock on your keys, so that way I can at least hear the van when I loose it!! LOL

I love this card and stamp set, I am old and I do loose my car, but not old enough yet that I have to put a flower on the antenna, that will probably be next year. Love how you did the windshield, and your coloring is so awesome.
Shannan, too funny! It's no fun to lose your car in the parking lot! ...cause then when you finally see it 3 rows over and way past where you've already walked, then you have to cut across the parking lot and at that point, everyone knows that you lost your car! LOL!!

Love your coloring! It's awesome....really like your shading for the ground. And the diamond glaze is fab. Is this the same as Crystal Effects? Great card!

Copic's have such a huge learning curve, don't they?!? I'm almost paralyzed with fear every time I reach for 'em, LOL!
