FINALLY! Some time to stamp! Just a few minutes, I think I've been working on this one for about an hour (short one for me!). I made this card just in the nick of time for Julee's 75K Challenge, so it's pretty simple.
There were a couple of things I set out to use on this card. The first was the Purple Onion Designs stamps that Julee sent me a while back. Also, I found some 5/8" grosgrain ribbon today in Pumpkin Pie, so I wanted to use it also.
When I make a card, I usually start with the focal image. That's why it's usually first in my post. Does that bother you? Sometimes I feel like I'm explaining backwards...let me know what you think.
Anywhoo...I stamped the Boss Lady stamp in Palette Hybrid Noir on Whisper White cardstock from Stampin Up. I colored her with markers, punched the corners, and distressed the edges. Sponged her in Saffron, Cocoa, & Chocolate Chip, then matted her on Pumpkin Pie.
Then I stamped the "Wanted" stamp (part of the set Julee sent me), in Palette Hybrid Burnt Umber, and then Noir on top and a little to the left for a drop shadow effect. (Used my Stamp a majig for this!) I distressed the edges of that and matted on Taken with Teal.
The card base is Kraft, which I stitched around the edges, and then tied my 5/8" grosgrain around it. I hope you like it!
Don't forget...an hour left for my challenge!! Got the goodies ordered and they're on their way!!
